Hello again. Did this detail for member Civicgeek133 this past weekend. Other than the hood being really stubborn and hard (due to a bad paint job) the car was pretty easy to work with and came out great! This is one of the best colors to perform paint correction on. The blue metallic was out in full bloom. Owner washed and used clay bar before I got there to eliminate some time so we could get right to work.
Process:
Hi-Temp Extreme Cut via Purple Wool @ 1600, then finish at 1000. Meguiars #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish via orange pad @ speed 6 PC
Optimum Poli-Seal via white pad @ speed 5-6 PC
Optimum Car Wax v2
Now onto the pics.
After I did a test spot with the Purple Wool I pulled it outside to see what kind of correction we were getting. Very minimal remained, which was cleaned up in the finishing steps.
Breaking down the Hi-Temp Extreme Cut. Has a nice working time with very minimal dusting. Excellent Compound.
The rear spoiler was removed to assure every inch of paint was corrected. I then taped up the holes as they were a little sharp.

Thanks Mang! D.J. does amazing work! I reccomend him for any paint correction or detailing needs! Guy knows his stuff!
I actually detail cars, but did not have the confidence in doing a paint correction on a black car, let alone my car. I posted a thread in the Mid-Alantic section and D.J. Immediatley contacted me and we worked a date on when the paint correction could be done. We understood I was on a budget and he did a amazing job with the time he had! I have never received so many good comments on my paint!

Thats actually how he does it in MD too! Came down from VA to SOMD to do this! And the tow hook is just there to be there, It's been on all my other cars also. Just made its way on to this one also!
