MG application recomendations

Hi gang.



Gonna be buffin a black 06 300c next monday. :waxing:



will be using the mg no 7, 9, and 26



lake country pads w pc 7424

MG fine detailg clay for paint prep

MGsw 2.0 w/ orange pad (vehcile has minor haze & swirls)

MG show glaze with white or black pad?

finish MG hi tec wax with blue pad



not interested in other product recomendations for this vehicle. wanna use up the rest of this mg so i can try some of your other product/application recomendations. :2thumbs: was gonna use a sealant before no 26 but wont be able to get any in time. n/p ill just do it next month when the wax is depleated.
 
fdizzle- The orange (light cut) pad might be a bit too aggressive for use with the #9. That's a *very* mild product and the orange pad has a fair amount of cut. You might have to follow up with the #9 again, using the white (polishing) pad. I'd probably see if the #9 with the white pad will do the job to your satisfaction.



Assuming that the white pad doesn't have any functional cut of its own on you paint (that's almost always the case), I'd rather use a polishing pad with Meg's "pure polishes" as opposed to a finishing pad. The finishing pads can load up with the oils from the product and I just like the feel of the firmer pad better. That's just personal preference though, either one oughta work OK.



Not to be all pessimistic or anything, but I'll be very surprised if the #9 has enough cut to do anything on the 300's clear. It'll do some filling but I wouldn't expect any correction.
