'01 Yukon

Got the call on this one and was told that there was a "smell" that they couldn't figure out where it was coming from. (that's always scary!!) I was told that the customer's kid took the vehicle camping and the cooler leaked in the back cargo area. First thing that popped into my head was mold.

Customer brought the vehicle over, stuck my head in and.....nothing. No smell. I told her I didn't smell anything but that I would check it out anyway. During the detail I pulle dup the carpet and the padding was fine, wasn't damp, didn't smell so I didn't worry about it.

I did end up emptying my extractor six times while cleaning the carpets though. They were pretty bad!! The interior actually took longer than the exterior....and that doesn't happen often for me...LOL!!

Customer was VERY happy when she picked it up and booked her mom's SUV my first available weekend at the end of November! Plus I might get to do her brother's Rousch Mustang!!

Anyway......here's all the particulars!

Brandon1 - Wassup buddy? How's life?

Secret Sauce really isn't all that secret. It's just something I stumbled upon. It's a mixture of 70% Megs $85 and 30% OP. It seems to do EVERYTHING I need it to do! It cuts through everything and finishes down very well!

My last few details have been just the "secret sauce" with no finishing step for polishing. I wasted some money on Friday and bought 32oz of Megs 105 and it does nothing for me at all. I am almost out of #85 so I may try adding OP to it to see how it works. But.....that's the secret sauce!!

Awesome results! I'm particularly impressed with the interior. I see why it took you longer than the paint work.

Would you mind telling me which Thermax you have and how much it cost you?
Thanks - Adam

Hm, then I would venture to say you haven't come across the situation where you're thanking the Lord for it (i.e. an old black VW Corrado from personal experience). M #105 is amazing stuff and can certainly do things pure #85 can't do alone, let alone mixed with OP.

Looks like your combo finished down super well on that Yukon, though. I'm quite amazed actually. Very nice job ( although I would lose the super uber bling tire gel next time ).

Very nice!

I'm surprised those wheels aren't clear coated.
