Stumpy Detailing - Bar None, The worst hologram/swirls EVER!

I warned you!

It gets worse!

Method used was a PC with 4" Orange pads and Menzerna PO95U (Menz Final Polish I) speed 6

Worked like magic:

What a handsome man that is!

Poorboy's Trim Restore working its magic:

One side done:

Completed

The customer had the nerve to gawk at my $200 to polish the truck, exclaiming "The interior is done, I just need you to polish it!"

Umm.. $200 is the BARE MINIMUM, I should be charging $300 for that Detail!!!

Any sun shots in the afters? I am more then suprised the PO85rd made the paint look that good, was it just one pass?

One very loong pass, yes. Actually, I did do a second pass over most of the truck, so lets say 2 long passes. Took me a total of 4 solid polishing hours to do the truck... But since I'm not confident with rotary on black, I had to be patient with the 4" PC pads.

I wasn't polishing in the sun, so I had to wait for the sun to hide behind the mountain before I could polish that side of the truck... I will try to get some full-sun shots soon.

Up close the before is a hazy grey of scratches, and the after was dripping wet black except for the few random scratches..

PO85RD even got out most of that one big scratch with enough working!

EDIT

The first picture, the rear fender is done (Polished that with Optimum Compound in the sun, but wasn't quite as satisfied with the removal ability)

Whoops! It is NOT PO85RD! It's PO85U, much more cut.

Sure that's not some new "hologram 3-D" paint?

Re: Stumpy Detailing - Bar None, The worst hologram/swirls EVER!

I updated the thread realizing that I was in fact using PO85U, not PU85RD.
