Moldy Jeep Interior. 4 Pictures.

Customer left the top open in the rain. The rain water combined with food and dog hair in her carpet and mold and odor developed.

She requested an interior and exterior detail and paint touchup of some minor scratches.

Process:
1. Remove carpet. Wrangler carpet simply unbuttons and slides out (even around the console).
2. Soak with degreaser and pressure wash thoroughly.
3. Hang to dry.
4. Spray floorboard with Microban Mildewcide (Microban Disinfectant Spray - Mildewcide, Bactericide, Fungicide, Deodorizer and Anti-Microbial). Let dwell for 10 minutes. Wipe clean.
5. When carpets are dry, spray them with Microban front and back.
6. Reassemble interior.

Time:
6 hours of labor. 7 total hours including dry time on an 85 degree day.

Price:
$229 for the detail. $50 for the touchup.

Nice recovery! I love it when interiors come apart easily

Great job. How long have you been using microban, and what do you think about it?
