Sam's Auto Detailing: 2001 Black Audi S4

This car was sent to the body shop to get the front half of the car done due to an accident I believe, or was it just because it had a lot of rock chips. I don't remember, however, the body shop did a great job on the paint (very soft) but still left some marring behind. However, the original OEM paint was in desperate need of help. It's has suffered through 7 years of abuse.

Exterior:
Optimum ONR (in the shade)
Clay w/ ONR Solution
Quick Wipedown with QD
SIP w/ PFW 1800 (Used both 4" and 6.5")
SIP w/ Orange CCS 1800 (4" and 6.5") on Front half
PO106FF w/ White Pad 1500-1800rpm (4" and 6.5" CCS)
Tires left Undressed
Waxed with P21 as Paint was still curing
Stoners IG for Windows

Interior:
Vacuum and Quick Wipe down

Test Spot
I did a test spot on the rear fender as it was the easiest to work on. I found that the SIP/Orange did a great job, but deeper scratches were still showing. I used the PFW with SIP and then followed that up with PO106FF and it came out great.

PFW-SIP / Original / LC Orange - SIP

Hood Test Spot 50/50

Original / Sip Orange CCS

Before
Front end wasn't too bad

The Back end was a trouble maker:

Water Spots all over Trunk

Pretty Beaten Up

Some 50/50 During Polishing:

Afters:
Rear Quarter Panel:

Who is that guy?

Trunk:

I'm still waiting to get my DSLR and a Tri-Pod for better pictures. I went over the car with Meg's Final Inspection at the end to make sure there's no more streaks left over.

Enjoy!

Thanks guys. I just looked over the post again and I notice I take some bad pictures of the car. Any tips?

Nice job on the Audi.

As for some tips, maybe tone down all the funky angles, it gets me all dizzy! If you are going to do the funky angles, you need to try and make them flow better because it looked like you put them in random sequence. Also, zoom in or zoom out, your pics are sort of in between. You also need a better money shot!

Wow. What are your rates dude? I'm having trouble getting the same results on my identical car.

Awesome work there Sam. Still able to find time around school eh? I wish I could do that. School full time and work full time, I cant make any time for anyone on the weekends. We need to hit up a course before the bad weather rolls through.

Thanks Guys. I'm thinking about playing shadow lakes or Deer ridge sometime next Friday man. Someone from the Cal Golf team is going to join us.
