Hey guys, was contacted by a member on here. I'm sure he will be on this thread sometime. Thanks again Tommy, it was a joy to meet you. Car was previously detailed by a place in Va beach and wasn't up to our standards. There were 4-5 spots on the car where there were deep scratches, heavy swirls and seems maybe the previous detailer got something in the pad and made it worst. Overall, I received about 95% or so defect free and was amazed because I only had about 10 hours total for the car. This paint was alot easier to work with than almost every other Corvette I have done. Also owner had a car meet to go to so we went for alot of that caranuba shine and here soon I will go down to apply Z-5pro for durability.
Also, NOTE* the holograms were removed as this was after the compounding stage.
Owner washed with Dawn and clay barred the night before I arrived.
Process:
95% HTEC 5%
M9 via orange pad @ 1800 RPM
M83 via white pad @ 1700 RPM
OPS via white pad @ speed 6 PC
CG EZ Cream Glaze via black 3M pad @ speed 5 PC
M26 via black 3M pad @ speed 5 PC
Z6 wipedown
NXT 2.0 via black 3M pad @ speed 5 PC
Z8 wipedown
