1995 red Lotus paint tested+ red M3 + red Lotus

I worked a small section (half of the roof) on this lotus today to see what I am up against and this is another heavyweight for sure.

This car was purchased just a few weeks ago.

SCRATCH!!!!

Here is part of what the paint looks like in the sun:

However while the paint looks near perfect the deeper RIDS were not coming out (tested them on the front bumper) and unfortunately the customer has a set budget. So those will stay, although they are not detected easily.

And here are their other rides previously done by me

PS: the M3 after 4 months is going very strong: Water still sheets off just like it was waxed yesterday.

The 95 Lotus looks really sharp. I like the body style on it.

Great job on making sure your customer got a good amount of paint correction even if their budget didn't call for perfection. Nice work.

Those other cars still look amazing Thomas after all those months. That's quality work right there.

Those older Lotus paints were a pain. It tough when the customer is on a budget and there is only so much you can do.

Superb job once again!

[Insert usual regarding tdekany's work!]

tdekany- I remember that M3, but if you would, please refresh my memory (and save me a search )....what did you use on its black belt-line/etc. trim? I'll have to do the trim on mine one of these days and I'd love for it to come out that nice.

Hey Thomas. Nice work and yes I did get your message (it was kind of late though when I got it).
