Carbon Black M5 ala picus.

Well howdy, I'm finally catching up on picture processing and thought "Hey, it's been over a year since I posted a detail", so what the hey...Not sure why I picked this one, it was recent and was pretty long, so it wins.

The car is a 2000 M5, carbon black. The owner bought it recently from a small dealership, who did not detail it (yay), unfortunately the previous owner had done a real number on it. A little over 100k on the clock, if I recall correctly. The only real bummer was the amount of stone chips on the front bumper, but what can you do. The paint on this car was pretty hard. Freakishly hard actually, but I kind of like that. I actually got to try a new (to me) product on it, Presta Ultra, which was cool.

Anyhow, onward.

Presta Ultra via 6.5" twisted wool @ 1700
megs 105 via pfw @ 1800
sip via white foam @ 1700
8rd via white foam @ 1500
kaio, collinite 476s

Here's a preview of the next one...

I honestly don't know where you find the time to do the writeups you do, especially considering how crazy in-depth they are. I know you probably work more hours than me, you're a machine. Either than or special Todd time adds like 6 hours to each day. You're going to take over the world, aren't you??

Re: Carbon Black M5 ala picus.

Damn, Picus! All the guys have talked about how good you are...I've only been on here for a few months, so this is the only C&B I've seen from you....and it didn't disappoint! Top notch work.

Can't wait to see the Stingray.
