1993 Nissan 300ZX

This is a recent detail of a 1993 Nissan 300zx for a Z club forum member. Nothing really special. The client didn't want a full corrrection but just a simple clean up to put the car up for sale. The car is in pretty good shape with only 60k miles on the ODO.

Process (6.5 hours)

Pre soak with CG CWG and NXT soap via foam gun
Wash with 2 BM and CWG
Clay with Meguiars Clay
Polish via Poorboys PWS and a Meguiars 8006 pad via Flex
Polish via PC with Sonus 4 inch pad for smaller areas
Interior wiped down with APC 10:1
Interior dressed with Meguiars #40
Wheels cleaned with Sonus Rim Bright
Tires and Wheels cleaned with Eagle One Tire and Rubber Cleaner
Exterior trim conditioned with PB's Trim Restore
Glass Cleaned with Zep Glass Cleaner
Exhaust polished with 0000 steel wool and PB's Metal Polish
Tire dressed with Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Dressing

Re: 1993 Nissan 300ZX

Great work, Pat. Many moons ago, I worked on a 300ZX exactly like this, only it was black. It was a $700 respray and it had more orange peel than an orange. I liked it, though. It was ahead of its time.

Excellent finish Pat! I remember the first one I ever saw on I 95 at a gas station coming back from NYC a loooong time ago. It was red.

Great work my friend has a silver one as well, the car looks very good for a 1993.

Nice job, those are neat cars. I had the chance to drive one with the twin turbos several years back, pretty impressive.
