Another mobile Detailing job. This car was bought at a auction, the previous owner passed away, and this car had been sitting in a garage for 2 years! the previous owner was a smoker, so i also had to get that smell out! that wasn't easy without a Ozone machine...

my mobile detailing setup
Before Wash
exhaust pipes were going to need some attention...
WOW, this car really was just sitting collecting dust!!
After the wash and clay
now i decided to get to work on the interior, since it was the owner's biggest worry.
paint under the halogens
now it was time to tape up the car. since the silver areas were a sticker i decided it was best not to polish them.
well i thought SIP on a white CCS would do the trick...

mostly by cleaning the carpets and the Klima clean.
the car only had 6000 miles so it wasn't that bad...

Nice job that color looks great on the corvette. And only 6,000 miles that thing has been sitting for a long time.

Re: ScheerSpeed Detailed: '04 Z06 commemorative
great work. i always had trouble on polishing the hood on the corvette, because it doesn't have a flat surface on it. it seems like the solution is to use smaller pads like you did.

Re: ScheerSpeed Detailed: '04 Z06 commemorative
Did the paint require more then one pass of SIP? IME, it can take 3 to 4 passes with a compound and wool to remove defects on the hard Corvette paint, before refining the compound marks with SIP.
Car looks great Scheer, I am just suprised it cleaned up that easily!

Whoa, what are you using for interior dressing? That stuff looks way too shiny.
The rest of the car looks great, though. You might consider changing to some interior dressing with more of a matte finish.
