hahaha

Although it's not perfect, it looks like a few more hours and it could have been a very nice job.

Instead of criticizing and demoralizing the guy, why don't you take a moment to explain how the job could be improved? No need for the negative comment without a positive solution. Does the job look great? Of course not. But we all had to learn somewhere and this guy is obviously inexperienced and needs a little guidance. But no matter how poor the job, there was no need for that comment.

Re: Detailing after repaint

And I do beleive there's a question there as what to use after his polish. Just from what I've seen I would say the next step after your wool polish is to switch up to a foam pad and polish. Once I hit the foam I usually take a few stages and finish up with 3M's Ultrafina SE. Since it's fresh bodywork I would use a hand glaze since it can't be waxed yet. Great start lots of effort just needs some finishing work.

(man I just love the eliteist on these boards sometimes......)

Re: Detailing after repaint

If the OP can tell us what products he used and what other products he has on hand, that would be helpful in formulating a process.

If he can get his hands on something like menzerna SIP, that would be a great middle polish to use w/ foam after the wool. It may take a few times going over the car with SIP/foam. Then follow with ultrafina polish and the blue 3M foam pad.

For perfection you need to finish up each polish step to its fullest potential.

(BTW I just love all the keyboard detailers and haters.)

I'm sorry that you did not read the thread Shuskan. The OP is NOT the detailer in question. He clearly states that there is no discription and that the thread is taken from another forum.

If I saw a video of a child spitting on his mother, I would comment that was terrible. Would you critisize me for my opinon on this as well and blast me for not offering advice on hooking a luggie?

I believe this is a case of you looking for a fight with out any relevant background. The OP is NOT the person doing the work. If the person posted the work and asked for advice I would have offered as I have 100's of times in the past (search my past posts if you care).

I would appericate if you retract your statements towards me because yours hold no weight in this context.

This post was NOT posted by the OP. Therefore I am able to offer my opinion.

As far as your elitist post, I have FAR more posts helping people then you do. Infact I rarely see you on here offering advice or taking the time to do it correctly.
