White E320

I did a "teaser" on this one earlier in the week so here's the whole enchilada.

Got this one when I dropped off an SUV I did for them last weekend. The paint was like chalk and was very rough to the touch. The interior was dirty but pretty normal.

Process

Wheels
Presoak w/Megs WB
EZ Detail brush x 3 (these things were dirtier than any wheel I have done to date!!)
Topped w/DP Spray Sealant
Tires
Presoaked w/Megs DG
Scrubbed
OB w/Airgun
Wells
Presoaked w/Megs DG
Scrubbed
Adams Undercarriage
Paint
Front presoaked w/Megs DG to remove bugs
Wash w/Dawn
Clay w/DP Clay - 4n1 for lube
Polish
SIP w/PFW
106ff w/orange CCS
KAIO w/white CCS
Topper
KSG
P21S
AW the next morning
Glass
Polished w/KAIO
Topped w/AW
Headlights
Wetsanded w/3000 unigrit
Polished w/SIP w/PFW
KAIO w/white CCS
Topped w/OS
Interior
Steam cleaned all leather and door panels
Treated leather w/DG Conditioner
Rest of interior got woolite/water
Carpets
Pretreated w/woolite and Folex
Extracted w/Thermax
Mats
Megs DG
Scrubbed
Rinsed
Not topped due to slippery nature of topping

After steaming this was as clean as it would get. I didn't want to get too aggressive.

Re: White E320

The owners were very happy! Gave me a nice tip and said that they had talked to a few neighbors, that had commented on the cars, about my work.

I used KAIO on a white CCS to get the water spots out. It has worked really well for me! The only water spots I had an issue with were on the passenger side mirror. I had to use some acid based cleaner to get those off. They were being very stubborn!!

Great job on the car Mose! That paint looked like the celica's SS paint that i worked on about a year ago. How many times do you have to run it through the swirlmeister to get that finish...

Re: White E320

Nice work Mose. Reminds me of the 320 I worked on before. Those cars can be a real nightmare. Very nice recovery.

Re: White E320

Nope.....didn't make any adjustments to the camera at all. Which part looks brighter, the car or the whole picture? If it's the car then it's supposed to be brighter cuz it's cleaner! If it's the whole picture then it might be a sun position issue....don't know.

it's the whole before shot, not just the car. just the day/time or angle. not questioning your results that are great, just wondering about the camera adjustment.
