Mercedes Teaser

Picked this one up when I dropped off the Explorer I posted about earlier in the week.

Should be a lot of fun!!

One very long pass w/SIP and PFW
One pass w/106ff and orange CCS
One pass w/KAIO and white CCS

Where did the other half of my light go?

Re: Mercedes Teaser

Light-absorbing paint swirls. Kind of like a black hole.

Re: Mercedes Teaser

My old '87 560SL is white, and it's held up better (apparently) than what you are trying to correct. My problem is trying to see what the heck the polish is doing against the white paint! Maybe it would be easier to move the car back into my garage for polishing. Good luck with the chalky Benz!!

Re: Mercedes Teaser

I was finding the same problem with the polish!! I kept having to back up and check my progress with the halogens! It should be a lot of fun to finish this car!!

Did they store the thing in the middle of the Sahara???

Shocking neglect of a luxury car.

Re: Mercedes Teaser

The wife told me point blank: "We are A to B drivers. We drive them till they drop and buy new ones!"

There ya go!!

Re: Mercedes Teaser

I'm looking forward to this one. Usually white turn arounds are not that dramatic because of their ability to hide defects, but i think that this one will be a shocker. good luck!
