I ended up with this detail cuz my original detail cancelled on me at the last minute. Wasn't too happy about it but life goes on!!
This one was for my Father in law. Mom had bought him a detail for Father's Day and he was more than happy to fill in my cancelled weekend! He buys all his cars from auction and has had this one for a while now. He typically doesn't keep them for very long. Buys them, gets me to clean them up and then flips them.
This one was pretty normal. Some swirling, no
water spots and the interior was pretty clean.
Did a couple things differently on this detail though. My recent posting about Black Wow (which has gotten way out of control) prompted me to try applying it differently and it worked out a lot better! I stuck to the instructions, using a small amount and making it stretch. Applied it, let it sit and then wiped it down and it turned out a lot better!! I also used Opti Bond
Tire Gel for the first time. I had purchased and paint sprayer for my compressor and was dying to try it.
I mixed it 2:1, shook it up and let 'er rip. When it hit the tire it seemed like it didn't mix well with the water. I let it sit for a while, didn't wipe it down cuz I was going for the "bling" effect on the tires, and it ended upleveling out and looking really good...for "blingy" tires. Never been a big fan of shiny tires but I knew that dad would like it....

So it sat overnight and I made sure that my wife called me when she delivered it to tell me if there was any slinging and she said there was none. So now I just have to wait to hear how it lasts. It was a pretty cool way to apply it though!! I can see how it last a heck of a lot longer this way!!
Ok.....enough blabbering!
