SC430, RR Phantom, 335 convertible

Minus whale take advantage of a rainy day and catch up a bit.

2005 Lexus SC430. Overall it was in very good shape but it had light water etching on the horizontal panels that laughed at Meguiars #105. The owner decided he didn't want the paint wetsanded, and since the rest of the paint was nearly swirl free (the owner does a great job washing his own vehicles), I polished the rest of the car with 3M Ultrafina using a blue Ultrafina pad. The owner prefers I use Zaino, so following UF, I did a Z6 wipedown, then applied 1 layer of Z5. I dressed the interior and cleaned the glass, then came back and applied a layer of Optimum Opti-Seal, finished up a few more things, packed up most of my stuff and then went over the car with Z8.

2004 Rolls Royce Phantom. I used to take care of it pretty regularly, but lately he just has me out to wax it every few months. He takes it to some place that washes it for $15 since he has such a weird schedule these days that it is too hard to set him up for regular washes. The paint needs some deeper polishing but the place that is washing it would undo it pretty quickly. I only had around 3 hours so I used my PC, blue Propel finishing pad and Pink Moose Plus. I believe I will keep the ingredient that makes it "plus" a secret for now. I then followed with Clearkote's Carnauba Moose.

2008 BMW 335 convertible. My brother's mother-in-law went to Germany and picked this one up at the factory, did a tour of Europe then had the car shipped here. She told the dealer no prep beyond a wash and no dealer emblem. Overall, the car was in excellent swirl free condition but all the horizontal surfaces needed a good claying. No need to polish, so I simply applied two coats of Optimum Opti-Seal.

Top up:

Couple quick pics of my Maxima with 2 coats of OS over Carnauba Moose:

Yes, those are rock chips in my hood.

Re: SC430, RR Phantom, 335 convertible

Great to see the CnB Scottwax, this new Pink Moose Plus sounds like its pretty sweet! Your car looks great, shame about the rock chips. I have been selling the excellent point of putting OS over nuba waxes, but not everyone sees! Its working great for you.

The pics look great and what a great way to work in a new BMW with a tour of Europe!

Re: SC430, RR Phantom, 335 convertible

Nice work Scott. love the RR. The 335 came out great too. I did an RMG/CMW combo on my Gray 335 after light polishing, and the results were very similar.
