Chevy 2500 4X4

Truck strarted out as a worktruck so it had to normal scratches and swirls in it. This was an exterior only detail so I didn't have to worry about the inside. The top had never been waxed so it took a little more polishing than the rest but it came out pretty nice!

Got the truck Friday night and delivered it on Sunday. I was pressed for time all weekend due to social committments. Poker tournament Saturday night which took about 4 hours of detailing away from me and then Father's Day brunch Sunday which took about 3 hours away from me.

Customer was very happy and told me that he had pretty much written the paint off. He also said that it looked better than it ever had!! That's always nice to hear. As always, with white, in the pics it looks like I gave it a good wash and hit it with some AA....but in person it looked really good!! I am hoping to get a hold of his wifes Silver Charger next. It could really use some attention!

Process:

Wheels
Sprayed w/Megs DG
Scrubbed w/EZ Detail Brush
Polished w/Flitz and a Mother's Mini Ball
Tires
Megs DG
Scrubbed w/Mother's Tire Brush
Dressed w/Black Magic Matte Tire Dressing
Wells
Megs DG
Scrubbed w/Mother's Fender well brush
Dressed w/Adam's Undercarriage
Paint
Washed w/Dawn
Clayed entire truck w/DP clay
Polished w/Menz SIP
Finished w/KAIO w/flat orange LC pad
Topped w/Megs GC
All plastic trim got PB Trim Restorer (almost out and have some Black Wow on the way)

Re: Chevy 2500 4X4

Holy moleys!! How could I have forgotten about the clay?!?! I just edited the OP. Two hours of claying!! Shoulders are still yellin' at me!!

dbesins: If you mean how was the paint to correct: It went pretty smoothly. The Flex and the PFW pads make short work of swirls!

If you were inquiring as to what condition the paint was in: It was pretty swirled but not as bad as some I have done.

If you meant something else please elaborate!!

Thanks for writing guys!!
