Now I don't know what to use anymore. is the PFW the same one was the 6.5 LC Purple Wool? I'm really surprised that you were able cut that much with the compound, how many passes did it initially take before the LSP?
BTW, amazing turn around, it really didnt look that bad from the first picture.

And why does everyone buy CSL replicas!? LOL Great turnaround man....I know how hard the clear coat can be on these cars.

You saved that car 100%!
The owner must have been pleasantly shocked!!!
Question:
when washing after all the polishing to remove dust, etc, is it just a no-touch foam gun? how do you rewash the car after the finishing polish without potentially micromarring the paint?

People think the car will only look that good for a short time, with a bit of education they can keep it looking good for a year or more.

Th paint wasn't too hard to work with, but the scratches were deep.
PFW finishes down very well.

FYI on the CSL thing - That is a ZCP package on that car. No CSL replicas, if you are talking about the rims, tell by many things; brake rotors, BMW rim part #. It is a standard part.
On the careless thing - You must not have a black one. The clear coat is so soft, wind mars it. Fingernails can permanently scratch it I wish it wasn't so!! :

I love M3's. | If this car is triple black (non-metallic) it is not out of the ordinary to be able to go from compounding to finishing polish like this. I did the same on a 2006 5-series a while back. This paint is quite an anomaly to the detailing nature. It is very hard to correct, yet scratches super easily.
Tdekany - great job! | |

Tdekany - great job! | I completely agree.. Everytime I wash my car, I just know I am maring the H3LL out of it, and I am crying in the suds. Even with polish and wax on it I feel I might as well be using sand paper or a bag full of rocks as my wash mit; same effect. The M3 black seperates the wantabees from the Yodas.. AND I am no yoda!
I would gladly take any and all advice. I feel like a complete IDIOT no matter what I do. I am starting to feel like not touching it and driving it is the best thing I can do for the clear coat.

Do you have any pictures that are sunny? Let me see the condition of the paint?
