'05 Tacoma

Softball buddy of mine wanted his "Taco" cleaned up. Pretty clean truck...normal swirls, some scratches....interior was pretty clean. Some water staining on the seats but most of them came out with extraction.

I own a Tundra and really like it....but this was a nice little truck! I am 6'5" and, with the seat all the way back it was a stretch to reach the steering wheel. Lots of room inside!! Plus the extra 5-6 MPG wouldn't hurt either!

As usual w/silver vehicles, the difference doesn't always transfer into pictures. The customer was happy, I was happy and you could really tell a big difference in person....plus a LOT more flake pop!!

Process to follow:

Tires, Wheels and Wells
Sprayed w/Megs DG and scrubbed with tire brush
Wheels sprayed w/Megs WB and brushed w/EZ Detail Brush
Wells coated w/Adams Undercarriage Coating
Tires got Black Magic Tire Gel
Wheels got AW

Interior
Vacuumed
Pretreated seats w/woolite and water
Extracted w/Thermax using just hot water
Dash and all plastic pieces got 10:1 woolite
Mats were extracted as well
Stubborn spots got Folex

Exterior
Wash w/Dawn
Dry w/leafblower
Polish w/FWP using Menz SIP
Finish w/106ff w/white CCS
Topped w/#16 x 2
AW x 1
Glass was polished w/KAIO and topped w/AW
Plastic trim pieces got PB Trim Restorer

Tacoma looks awesome. You know you did good when you can see silver pop. What kind of degreaser for the wheels/tires?

Truck looks great!

Out of curiosity, does drying via leaf blower cut your drying time at all?

Re: '05 Tacoma

It's not really a time saver as much as a way to minimize swirling. Plus it's a great way to get all the water out of the nooks and crannys that is going to drip out all over the garage when you move the vehicle.

If you don't use any towels at all it will take a little longer. I use the Vroom drying towels from Target to get the majority of the water off then follow up with the blower.
