dsms detail- 3 cars in 3 days: E350,S550,650...
Last week was a busy one. For some ridiculous reason I ended up scheduling 3 cars back to back to back. 14 hours each or so. I'd finish one, drop it off and pick up the next the following day.
First up Merc E350...
Quick process summary, very similar on all cars

CM5300
Highline
ONR
Sonus green
Z-PC w. green ccs
3M UF w. grey ccs
Z6 wipedown
1x Z2pro ZFX'd
Z6 wipedown
P21s 100% x2
Z8
Prototype APC being tested on wheels and tires
EZ brush and Swissvax brush
AG intensive tar remover
Black WOW on trim
CG Liquid extreme shine on tires (heavy on the tire shine as per customers request)
Adams undercarrige
1Z glass polish
Noxon + #0000 SW
Z-AIO wheels polished
Z2 ZFX'd on wheels topped w. Z-CS
LGM w/ Folex
Megs APC+
Z9/Z10 on leather
1Z CP
1Z Reinger
Befores;
Prototype APC working its magic on the rear wheels...no powersticks needed
After
Front passenger side wheels, thick brake dust no match for E-Shine's APC, this stuff is truly a great wheel and tire cleaner
After
Noxon and Mf worked nicely on the chrome...
Sorry no outside pics on this one, afters

What did you end up using the steel wool for? I didn't see it mentioned.
Also where did you pick up the Noxon 7?

Nice work on that convertible. I like the extra touch of organizing her things. Good job.

I have to tell you, I really really really like the way you went the extra mile by arranging the things of the owner. That's a really great job there. You gave me an insight how to provide extra satisfaction at no cost.
Great great job, mate!

I've found that its the little extra things in a detail that really make a customer happy. Sure the paint will shine and the leather will be cleaned but its to be expected from a complete detail. Re-organizing her trunk(including folding up dirty gym towels) and bagging all of her personal items according to category, lets them know you went the extra mile. For example all money and change found in the interior goes in 1 bag and dry cleaning tickets and reciepts in another. I also love to spray a light scented Febreeze on the carpets and in the trunk just to make the car have a more pleasent enviorment when they get in for the first time and next time she opens her trunk which may be days later she will be left with the scent of febreeze and see all of her items neatly stored and organized. My goal is to created a lasting impression on every car I return to a customer. I've found Women especially are very responsive to smells, and not so much the intoxicating smell of Zaino leather products! I also bag up all customers change and tell them to take it to coinstar or commerce bank and get cash for it, that usually puts a smile on their face.

Sorry, I just found what you used. Does it sling at all?

It slings a bit if you apply several thick coats but normally no. Thin even coats are fine.
