I used to wash it pretty regularly when it was new and the owner drove it regularly but the last few years, he has a C6 Corvette as his beater so the Ferrari sees light weekend duty only. He calls me out about every 8-12 months to detail it. This is the first time I used a rotary on it.
The paint is single stage and pretty soft. Meguiars #80 Speed Glaze using a yellow Meguiars polishing pad and 1200-1400 rpm, finishing down at 1000 rpm took out the defects and appeared to be hologram free. Not taking any chances though (since it was raining when I started on the car and sometimes halogens don't pick up light holograms), I followed with 3M Ultrafina using a blue Ultrafina pad. Sealed the paint with Carnauba Moose. Interior was my usual, Woolite/water for the vinyl and leather, Biokleen Traffic Lane Cleaner on the carpets. Vinyl dressed with Optimum Protectant Plus, leather with Meguiars Gold Class Leather (foam version, really nice product!).
Can you say "paint transfer"?
Under the halogens (light swirls in the befores really didn't show):
Odd pitting in the hood, shows in this shot and the sun shots.

Hey Scott, don't know if you remember, but one time LONG ago I commented on how your pics always look hardcore overexposed or something - wasn't trying to be offensive back then, just saying! But hey, these ones look WAYYYY better. Great cars, great details, great pics Scott!
