Roses are red, so are RX-7s and Ducatis

1994 Mazda RX-7. Overall in decent shape, minimal swirls. Odd thing though, the bumpers were single stage but the body of the car was base coat/clear coat. Usually the other way around.

I started off with Meguiars #83 using a yellow Meguiars 8006 polishing pad at 1400 rpm, finishing at 1000 rpm. Fender polished, door untouched.

I followed #83 with 3M's Ultrafina + pad. Forgot to get before shots with the halogens but here are some afters:

I finished it off with Clearkote's Carnauba Moose Wax.

The muffler and tip were polished with Clearkote's Blue Moose Cutting Creme.

That is one clean ride... I'm so jealous of the owner of that vehicle, not just for the vehicle but also the fact the detail was done by you Scotty! Very impressive results!

2007 Ducati 1098. Beautiful bike! Had some light spider swirls and holograms, when I first started on it, the sun was in and out so fast between the clouds I couldn't get any good befores. I went with Optimum Polish using a white LC CCS pad @ 1200 rpm, triggering down around the curves, followed by 3Ms Ultrafina + pad and topped with Carnauba Moose. Blue Moose on the exhaust tips.

wow those are both clean rides!! I love RX7s and those body lines will never go out of style. Its just too bad they have so many problems with that 13b how many miles were on that rx7 anyways?

Both look great Scott! How long did the bike take ya? With a bike like that, do you do a lot of hand polishing for all the smaller areas?

Nice Duc! I sat on a few Ducatti's at the International Motorcycle Show and they felt perfect for my height. Nice work on both!

Oh, wow.... that RX7 is just stunning. That has to be one of the most beautiful polishing jobs I've ever seen.. either in real life or on these pages. You, sir, truly are the master. And on 14 year old paint!
