Re: Red lotus revisited today.

What size wheels are those? I love it! Is it lowered to your knowledge? What mods have been done?

Re: Red lotus revisited today.

Thanks guys!

The wheels are new, but I don't know the size. I'd say 17s?

I don't think that anything else is done to the car.

I finally have an excellent painter that I can recommend. I trust him. He likes the spray better. You should have seen the kind of body work he was doing on a cobra in his shop. Unreal!

In about 2 weeks the car should be ready and I will tell you what I think of the spray on protection.

Re: Red lotus revisited today.

Nice work!!

My boss wants me to do his Lotus. I looked at the paint, and noticed that you can see the fibers from the fiberglass under the paint. I thought that was kind of weird, but maybe fiberglass cars are like that.

What kind of compound would you use on this car with heavier scratches? I have Megs,Menz,3m, and Clearkote products. I just purchased all these products so I am still learning what works best. Just wondering what would be good on this paint..

Thanks, Shawn..

Re: Red lotus revisited today.

Don't know. On detailingworld I have seen that color detailed. I'd look for it there to see how the paint will react.. I've done a black and green besides this red and those were pretty easy to correct. This red was a nightmare.
