Thanks for the info, you hit it on the nail. Kinda funny cause alot of systems are marketing the 1 product for all stages of polishing/compounding while we still keep flipping through many brands (Meg's, 3M, Menzerna, Opt, Zaino etc) for all the troublesome paints.

I hear ya on the grabbing motion from SIP/106FF, any suggestions or experiences of addressing that issue. For novices I know it's a matter of properly cleaning/priming/positioning yourself. Guessing pad & paint hardness is the main techniques.

Does he care what LSP u use on his vehicles?

I know the LSP makes little difference on a car properly polished but boy does she look perfect

on a second note noticed u r into BJJ who u got this weekend Mir or Lesner?

Agreed, you have to find what works best with you and for you on particular paints. I always say you can't enough options at your disposable (provided you have enough seat time with each). Many times I have found myself scratching my head, going through my usual rotation of Menzerna or 3M polishes, only to grab a Meg's, Presta or OP polish and find it works amazingly on that paint (how is that for a run-on sentence? ). The file that info in the back of my head when a similar occasion occurs.

If 106ff or SIP is grabby, try mixing a little OP in (which is why it was in the photos) to amp the slickness. The other option would be to swap them out for different polishes (IP and FP work well as a combo when the SRC cousins are acting out) or a different brand. People are so brand loyal and I think it limits our success. (Comming from the guy who still refuses to try system one lol).

Thanks Diesel. Brian and I had used PS21 100%on a red Ferrari a couple days previous and really enjoyed the look. The owner of this car is a huge 'nuba fan, so we wanted to see it over RMG on black. Great choice, I think

I have been into BJJ for seven years (still suck), MMA for at least 10. Mir should have an easy fight, but who knows with him. He lost to Ian Freeman a long time ago in a fight he should have won, and has been on/off ever since.

Have you tried Blackfire SRCC? I've used this on newer 3-series black paint, and it didnt grab like SIP does.

Great job on another great italian. These are the nicest 4-drs on the planet, imho, even over a Bentley. Best black detail Ive seen in awhile!
