Question Washing between layers

I plan to apply at least 2 coats of Ultima PGP to my Lexus. The recommendation is to wait at least 12 hours between coats, so basically leaving the car overnight. During this time, my car would have collected some dust. Should I be washing the car between coats?

Re: Washing between layers

Depends on how dirty it is. If it's just very, very light dust you could wipe it down with a QD and plush MF. If there's any doubt I would just wash it again.

Re: Washing between layers

Another thing you could do is to do a quick wash. spray the whole car with water use some car soap and just "run over your car" with it. Whipe off all the water then apply a new layer of PGP...

Here in Norway we have about 43F at night sometimes down even lower. but lucky me the PGP was able to cure for at least 4-5hrs before it got this low.
