UPGP via microfiber or foam?

Hey guys, I recall that I had FAR better results applying ZCS via foam. Less product was saturated into the pad, it was more obvious on the paint and went eons further than when I used the cotton applicator.

Anyone try applying UPGP via foam? Results? Opinions?

Re: UPGP via microfiber or foam?

For some reason, MF works better with the Ultima. I use foam for CS/OS and used it with Ultima a few times and felt that I was over-applying it (however, no streaks). I can't stand that giant behemoth MF Ultima App, its sitting on the shelf. I use a 3" round MF App and it works great. I've Ultima'd ~20 vehicles and I'm about 3/4-1 oz down on the sampler bottle.

Cliffs: Ultima OK w/foam, better (+ efficient) with MF.

Re: UPGP via microfiber or foam?

i've tried all three WOWA products with both foam and MF (including DFT applicator), and was more comfortable with foam (round, yellow applicators)...try both and see which one you like.

Re: UPGP via microfiber or foam?

I just didnt get on with the MF 'brick' the first time out with PGP, but have persevered and now find it just right, apart from on the narrowist areas like windscreen pillars etc.

I would try it again if you havent already as it really does work well once you get used to the feel of it and i think the larger surface area helps apply a thinner coat...
