Re: Smaller Sizes

This is great news, I could not justify buying the quantity that was first offered as I only have two cars to take care of and was concerned about shelf life. Thanks DB

Re: Smaller Sizes

Wow.

A little higher than I was expecting, considering the whole sampler was only $40. And they obviously aren't selling as expected considering they're still available..

Re: Smaller Sizes

Wait, did the prices just jump up? I could have sworn the Tire and Trim guard was $40, and if it was purchased with the sampler pack you got $10 off making it $30.

Re: Smaller Sizes

Yeah they did. I'm glad I got some before they did. I noticed the UPPP jumped up 5 bucks as well.

Please don't insult me with your speculation.

I timed release of these products based on remaining volume of the sampler. We made nearly 900 and have a few left.

The pricing of the product is based on cost per use. In the smaller size, PGP is priced at $1.75 per use. In the larger size, the price goes down to $1.25. This should be compared to a leading commercial brand, such as Meguiar's #21, which we estimates costs more than $2.00 per use:

- Product
- Applicators
- Towel use (including washing the towels)

If you look at the price simply based on a dollar value, I think you're missing the point.

In addition to the sealant itself, we offer a premium applicator and a full color 24 page manual. The competitive products do not provide the same (to my knowledge).

While we realize the cost of entry into Ultima is higher than some people are used to, so is the development, marketing and legal. We're proud of the products we've created and stand behind them with the best support and warranty available.

Re: Smaller Sizes

Are the new 4oz sizes the same shaped bottles, just mini-me versions?

Just ordered a sampler kit for my dad's x-mas gift! Been trying to teach the old dog some new tricks, this should work!

No, they are a round with a bullet shape top ("cosmo round"). They fit very nicely in the hand.
