UPPP Right after OHC?

I tried searching for this, but came up empty.

I plan to try out my sampler kit soon, but I wanted to know something about UPPP first. I am going to go over my car with Optimum Hyper Compound first on a orange swirlbuster pad via my UDM to properly prep the surface to get rid of some swirls and scratches. After the OHC, can I go straight to UPPP or do I need an intermediate step to take away any marks the OHC leaves behind? I have the full range of UDM/Sonus pads except the scratchbuster pad. If it helps, for an intermediate step I could use ZPC, ZAIO, OC, or IP. Thanks in advance!

The car is a 2004 Infiniti G35X, black

Re: UPPP Right after OHC?

I would use one more step prior to UPPP. Following OHC with regular OC and a finer pad would be perfect, and then go to your UPPP to finish up.

Per our email, UPPP will do a fine job polishing out the compounding marks/haze. Use the DAS SwirlBuster pad and don't be shy about apply and little polisher speed and pressure.

Enjoy!

Re: UPPP Right after OHC?

I did the same exact combo today, however my piant is so uncorrectable it's a joke. I did experience a very very small amout of hesitation with the removeal of UPPP afer OHC, but not after an ISA wipedown.
