Re: Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus Durability

David,

Check compatibility with Kumho and BFG's...I had issues with those brands.

Re: Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus Durability

this is a very good idea. i don't like a high gloss look but agree that after a wash or two the protection seems there but the look is gone. i hv at least 6 coats on my daily driver and would love if it would keep the just dressed look.

I can check BFG's... don't have access to Kumho's.

BFG's are made by Michelin and you can shine those with spit!

Re: Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus Durability

I don't know the dates but a quick Google search returns many hits.

Re: Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus Durability

Haven't used it on my tires as of yet ,but has been on my plastic trim for over a month now with rain and many car washes-looks like it was just applied. What a great product!!
Just what I was looking for. Thanks! Tried many other long lasting? products and they wouldn't last a week.

Holy crap! I guess that makes Goodyear the only major "American" tire company left (that doesn't have foreign ownership).

Re: Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus Durability

Goodyear owns Kelly Springfield. Don't forget Cooper, they now own AVON which is a british tyre company that is original equipment on Rolls Royce and (IIRC) Astin Martins and possibly Jags as well.
