UPGP Sample Bottle Sprayer Question

I got to try out the Ultima sample kit this weekend. I know people have had problems with the micro-mist sprayer on the production bottle of the UPGP and they have been concerned with air entering the bottle and ruining the sprayer.

My question is should I be replacing the shipping cap on the sampler UPGP bottle and removing the sprayer after each use? Or, can I keep the sprayer attached to the bottle and just keep the clear plastic cap on the sprayer?

Re: UPGP Sample Bottle Sprayer Question

I have been testing this sprayer with cap on and cap off for several weeks. I was able to get the sprayer to fail with Tire & Trim Guard Plus (needs a sprayer with a higher output), bu the Paint Guard Plaus and Interior Guard Plus have not failed (cap on and cap off). I'm going to give it another week before I determine if this sprayer is the long term solution.

Re: UPGP Sample Bottle Sprayer Question

Same question....not sure I understand David's answer. Shipping cap (no sprayer) on when not in use, or keep the sprayer on?

I have not tried taking the sprayer out to see if that prevents the plunger from swelling. I can't tell you if this is going to help or not. If your sprayer clogs, Lynn will get you a new one. The final solution is 2 weeks away.

Re: UPGP Sample Bottle Sprayer Question

Has anyone verified it is safe to leave the sprayer on UPGP sample bottles? I'm not sure what David's comment about a swelling plunger are about, but I hope that applies to the full size bottle and not the sample sprayer.
