It lasted a long time and I was happy with it. I planned on doing the same today, but having just got the kit, I figured I'd try it out.
The Honda is a 54K mile kid mobile. Today I washed and started to use Menzerna, but decided to try the Ultima polish. It didn't seem to remove much but layed down a polymer base easily. I had heard it was tough to work with, but it was easier than just about anything this side of 1Z polish. Easy on, worked it, easy off.
The Paint Guard is all its said to be. Easiest product I've ever worked with. Easier than Z2 or Z5, or anything that needs wiped off. It took be about all of 10 minutes to apply it to the entire car. If it lasts like David says it lasts, I'm probably done buying other products. It works like advertised. Slicker than ANYTHING I"VE EVER USED.
The tire product is just like I like it. A nice satin finish. Doesn't look like it's going to sling all over the side of your car, but does look nice and natural, and a satin finish.
I didn't figure it was worth the price, until I saw results that on application were as good if not better than Zaino. Factor in the ease of use and its ahead. When I figure out the per hour value of my free time, its a no brainer.
Let's see how the stuff holds up, but right now, I am sold.

If you have to do more paint correction, like let's say there were deeper swirls, do you just do your normal polishing and then put Ultima on top of it, or would you need to strip off your products somehow (not sure what you would do, maybe dawn wash it?) after polishing to apply UPPP and UPGP?

Being able to lay down a coat of sealant on a mini van in 10 minutes is a huge time saver. My RDF49(beta of PGP) beads on on the roof of my Odyssey after being there for more than a year with NO BOOSTER products at all.

Wife took the car to a dog tracking meet yesterday (when the weather was good) and now it\'s cold and raining.\r\n\r\nIs there a temperature range at which to apply the PGP? If there is will anything bad happen if the temp drops down lower than the range after it is applied. We are expecting highs int the mid teens and lows just above zero C (or mid to upper 50\'s and lows just above freezing). So I\'m wondering what happens if I apply it after work when the temp is in the mid 50\'s and then the temp drops below freezing overnight.\r\n\r\nBTW this is a great forum and I am a total noob, but just got a new car 2008 Kia Rondo - white, and am looking to protect it for the coming winter.'

I used my sampler over the weekend. The PPP is very easy to use - good long working time and very easy to remove. Got a good shine and a nice pop on my metallic silver Accord. I need to attack the water spots and scratches with something with more cut, but will be using the PPP as my finishing polish from now on.
Now what really impressed me is the PGP - very easy to apply and super slick 24 hrs after application. The detail spray is fantastic also, spray on the windows, mirrors and the paint just gets slicker and slicker after each use.
I'm sold on Ultima also, very easy to use and leaves a great shine and slick finish. Looking forward to trying some of the other products in the Ultima lineup.
I'm married and have 2 kids - I need a few easy to use, long lasting products that get the job done - I think this is the strength of the Ultima line.
