Here's how I would break down the equivalent products between Sonus and Ultima:
Wash - Ultima Paint Guard Wash
Clean - Ultima Elastrofoam Paint Cleaning System
Restore - There's not really an Ultima equilvalent for the Sonus SFX-1 polish; it's more aggressive than Paint Prep Plus. If you have swirls and scratches that need to be polished out, you can use Sonus SFX-1 on this step regardless of whether you're finishing with Klasse or Ultima. Basically, *any* good, moderately aggressive polish will work for this step. Other options would be 3M polishes, Hi-Temp, Optimum, Meguiar's . . . the list goes on, there are a lot of decent polishes out there.
Polish - Ultima Paint Prep Plus
Protect - Ultima Paint Guard Plus
Enhance - Again, no direct equivalent to the Sonus kit, although you could top Ultima with a carnauba if you care to.
The Sonus kit is built around using Klasse as a durable layer of acrylic protection, then adding a carnauba wax topper (the "Enhance" step) to improve the final look. Whether or not you even need the wax topper is entirely up to you; Klasse has a pretty decent shine all by itself. The same will be true for Ultima; you *can* top it with a wax if you like, but it's not necessary if you like how Ultima looks on its own. Personally, I'm not all that fond of topping with carnauba; I'd rather add another layer of sealant.
Hope this helps,

Thank you very much, its nice to be around other people who enjoy detailing. Im all new to this and have probably been doing research for 2months or close to, first i was looking at Meguiars product line, then Pinnacle and now Ultima.
Im thinking about getting the whole Ultima product line, it would cost some money but thats alright
I noticed however that you left out "Ultima Detail Spray Plus"
Could that one have been put between Wash and the Cleaning step, maybe together with a clay to get rid of dirt and stubborn stains just to get out everything in the "pores" as our dear DavidB says in one of the guides?

The Ultima Detail Spray Plus is going to be the rough equivalent of the Sonus Detailing Spritz included in the Sonus kit. I'd actually be more inclined to include a new category at the very end of the original list called "Maintain". Both lines' details sprays will restore gloss, slickness, and add a bit of durability (both quick detailers have a bit of their own protective qualities, and will boost longevity of your existing protection a bit). I almost always use a quick detailer of some sort after a wash to keep up appearances . . . even when it doesn't really seem necessary, going around the car again lets me find water spots and other things I might have missed.

When you come to mention it, from other forums in Norway i have seen that those Detailing sprays has been sort of dual use/purpose at one part together with a clay bare for lubrication and one part for maintainance like when you dont want to wash the whole car and want to "touch up certain spots".
So you sees the quick detail spray more of a maintainance spray, makes sense to me.
Thank you

Personally, I wouldn't use either Sonus Detailing Spritz or Ultima Detail Spray Plus for clay lube, mostly because they're a little pricey for that purpose.
I *do* use quick detailers for clay lube, but it's usually inexpensive over-the-counter stuff. I've also bought gallons of QD for clay lube before . . . both Meguair's and Hi-Temp offer gallon sizes of QD that are inexpensive and work well with clay.

+1 on that - if you live somewhere with hard water or intense sun, a QD after drying is an absolute necessity. I try never to qd after driving though - that's a recipe for swirls.

I use quick detailers between washes, too, but only as long as the car is still mostly clean. I usually run a California Duster over the car very lightly to pick up loose dust, then use a QD to finish cleaning and to give the car some extra "pop". The Sonus and Ultima quick detailers are fine for that sort of job, as well as for the after-wash touch-up. The only thing I wouldn't use the Sonus/Ultima QDs for is clay lube, only because there are much cheaper OTC alternatives.
You can use Ultima Detail Spray Plus as you would other QDs.
