I use IGP on more than just my leather chairs. I'm using IGP to protect all of my fine wood furniture and my fabric. I use IGP on my stainless in the kitchen and to seal my sink and the counter tops.
As long as your aniline leather is not a brushed finish, you can try it. Be sure to check for color fast bleeding, first. On my 1930's club chairs I had a little dye come off the first time I used it, but then it sealed tight and no longer bleeds.
