All bets are off at this point.

We have no idea what was used in the commercial car wash - probably nothing that any of use would consider using on our cars.

I have the 99 Boxster

which is 2 months in to it's Ultima test, and it's still drawing comments and questions about what we used to polish the car. And it's a daily driver!

Looks great - beads like crazy - and was properly prepped with Ultima products all the way.

To shout 'the sky is falling in' after one poor comment seems a tad hasty.

Get a starter kit, try it yourself, get a qualified opinion and post here.

Re: (Diminishing) shine of UPGP?

Any pictures of that red Porsche in the moments before UPGP was applied?

Whether UPGP's looks diminish is of great interest to me as well. I'll keep an eye on this htread

No unfortunately - I only have clean shots! LOL

However, here's the best that Klasse could achieve with the same car - nice, but nothing like the depth and shine of the Ultima application

Re: (Diminishing) shine of UPGP?

To answer questions regarding the "color" of the UPGP product, yes, the product has a slight clouding to it. The clouding is caused by the drying agent we use, which is a VOC. We are working on our V2.0 product which uses a VOC-free drying agent that does not cloud the polymer and makes the sealant 100% VOC-free. We do not expect final performance to change in any way. We are hoping to achieve faster drying in cold and humid climates.
