Thanks Al, I'll start the local search tomorrow.

EDIT: My trip was cut short since a friend invited me to go fishing on a charter boat off of Redondo. I was able to hit only 2 of the stores on my list. So far both of the stores weren't familiar with it. One guy said if I knew who made it he could probably order it for me. The other store (I believe it was called Color Craft) had some Meg's Pro and Detailer line products there, and when I inquired about how much the gallon of Wheel Brightener was, it was almost $27.
Looks like I might just end up buying from ADS again. Any money I'd save for the cost of these sponges it would easily cost more than that just in the cost of gas driving around. I've never been to a PBE store though so that was the only reason why I wanted to check these places out.

I had high hopes for this as a fast alternative to spot claying my new-ish car but it seems more appropriate to use it on glass, overspray or neglected vehicles where polishing is part of the plan. Maybe someone can come out with a "tweak" to make it less abrasive (DFT's peerless sponge sounds like it's worth a try, despite the rare review, I just wish shipping wasn't more expensive than the actual product).
