I contacted Autopia and they are sending me another bottle so that makes me feel a little better.
But for a $40 bottle of tire & trim dressing this is very disappointing. I mean just how unstable are these products with the Polycharger already added. DavidB says he designed each product and package size so that there would be enough product to care for your car for 2 years, but if the shelf life is only a couple of weeks/months what's the point? My bottle had never even been opened. Now I am really going to have to wait to try the PPPP and PPGP to see if everyone finds that these products are stable. | My UPPP and UPGP are very stable and very highly rated products. They are more than worth the $100 IMO.

Stuff happens, its how its handled that makes a difference. Heck, I don't think the guys at Lexus responded back to me this fast when I had an issue. I hate "rah rah" guys, but I am pretty impressed with the follow up.
Just my observations. | Thats exactly how I feel. Mistakes happen, things get overlooked, its only human nature. No one or nothing is perfect, unless you ask my wife and she will say she is but we will save that discussion for the therapist. Anyways, its all in how the error is made up that matters.

I got a response and had a new bottle on the way within 3 hours of phoning in my complaint. It's just with the money their charging and the claims of being 'King of the Hill' , I was expecting to be blown away by these products but its been a disappointing experience so far and I haven't even tried the product yet. My wife already thinks I'm an idiot for spending $40 on such a small bottle of 'tire goop' as she calls it. But then come to find that it's spolied made her laugh harder.
I am glad that is just some kind of cleaning fluid and not some stability issue. My intial response from Autopia was this was the first that they had heard of issue. So that's why I brought up the stability issue. But it looks like it was actually a known contamination problem.
On the bright side I guess I'll end up with an extra pumper & applicator!

I just received a bottle of Detail Spray Plus that is having blackish gunk floating in it or stuck to the walls of the bottle. Rest of liquid is milkish. I would say fact that color of bottles is dark blue is impacting chances of visual quality control.

As always Zoran, we will take care of any issue that may arise and I have already made a note of this and will take care of it on Monday. I will also have our current stock checked of Ultima products quality checked prior to having any orders shipped out Monday morning.
If anyone has an issue with any product we sell please make sure that you send me an email to Lynn @ ThePerfectShine.com or any of the email links in the store, I do watch the forum but I can't passably read every thread. Sorry, just can't be everywhere at the same time and an quick email is the fastest way to a resolution..
Lynn

FYI, I did e-mail you separately from posting, purpose of post was not customer service request, but just warning to everyone to closely inspect their bottles as issue is almost unnoticable due to bottle design.

We did a lot of testing with this product and fragrances. I thought we had the problem whooped, but it looks like we don't. The "scum" that gets formed is the fragrance itself. I have not noticed a performance problem with the product when this happens, but it's not pretty to look at.

Seriously, why does everything have to smell like something you'd want to eat?
