Ultima Paint Care Challenge

The Ultima Paint Care Challenge Is On!

It’s time to throw-down and put money where my mouth is.

Give me your very best shot. You all know what we (the makers of Ultima) have to say about the product. Now it’s your turn.

I’ll offer a 120% money back guarantee that Ultima Paint Prep Plus and Ultima Paint Guard Plus will put a deeper, wetter, glossier, slicker finish on your car than anything you have in your arsenal. The 120% money back guarantee covers product only, not shipping (sorry, I’m not going to pay for you to get a free detail!).

Plus, if you take this challenge, I will send you a FREE bottle of Ultima Detail Spray and Ultima Paint Guard Wash (you pay regular shipping) for your effort (a $38 value!).

Here’s the challenge:

1. You must take before and after photos.

2. You must accurately describe the products and process you’re comparing to Ultima and display a picture of the product set.

3. You must apply Ultima as prescribed/recommended.

4. You must treat half of your vehicle with “brand X” and half with Ultima (a true side-by-side test). Masking down the middle with masking tape is ideal.

5. You must post a no-bull, no-holds-barred assessment of both product sets and the final results.

6. You must agree not to cross-contaminate applicators and towels. Use fresh applicators and towels with brand X and fresh applicators and towels with Ultima.

7. You must allow both products to cure for 24 hours, wash and dry before making a final assessment of slickness, gloss, depth, etc.

8. You must agree not to contaminate the LSP finish with a detail spray or any additional product after LSP application.

Failure to follow these challenge rules disqualifies you from the 120% back offer (if Ultima does not win in your assessment) and the free bonus products.

Let the challenge begin.

Challenge ends September 1, 2007.

Re: Ultima Paint Care Challenge

Im in for this as hopefully I will get my product today. When you say tape down half, are you talking each and every panel or just a few or what would you like.

But Im definitely IN. I wanted to test this next to Zaino or PS.

Tape off down the middle. Do one half with brand X and the other half with Ultima.

LOL, maybe Im just tired here but are you basically saying divide the car in half on the hood roof and trunk. Then when looking at the car from the side do say the drivers side door to the front bumper with one, and the passengers door to the rear bumper with the other?

Anything else that I need you to know before I start the challenge. Will probably do it on Saturday.

Re: Ultima Paint Care Challenge

Interesting challenge.

I ordered and got my package last friday for the Paint Prep and Paint Guard Plus. I'll probably fully apply it to my grey 05' Camry and do a test on my 06' Titanium Silver 325i. Will maybe either try it against Zaino or Duragloss which i both love.

Nope. Part of what I get out of the challenge is a test of my instructions.

See: Ultima Paint Guard Plus

Re: Ultima Paint Care Challenge

I'm not the judge... YOU ARE!

I'm not taking the pictures... YOU ARE!

I'm not the one who makes the final decision... YOU ARE!

I want people who take the challenge to be as critical as can be of the Ultima product. I'm sticking it out there... take a whack at it!

Re: Ultima Paint Care Challenge

I cant believe you are going to send us free stuff for just doing the challenge. Thats so generous of you David. I finally got my Ultima today. I am trying it out tomorrow on my mother-in-laws maroon Nissan Murano. Im just about done polishing it out and will let you know my thoughts on that one tomorrow evening. The challenge will be done on Saturday on my wifes 2002 Mitsu Eclipse.

The challenge takes effort on your part to do it right.

Let's face it, taking pics, masking off the car, doing the write up... it's a bit of effort. It's SO WORTH IT to me to get your feedback.

Look, not everyone is going to like our Ultima products. I want the "I DON'T LIKE..." feedback as much as the "I LOVE IT!". We only get better through critical testing by the most demanding critics of al... YOU GUYS!

So, bring it on... I want the harsh comments. I can take it! If Ultima is not better than everything else out there I want to know. Cuz if it's not, it soon will be. I promise you that!!!

I won't settle for second place.
