The bottles, caps and sprayers are ordered.
The Labels are being made.
The User's Guide is in progress.

I will make every effort to have this cranked out by early september. We will make a total of 900 of these kits. If the response is good, I will take it to the next level and make it a permanent "retail" item.

I will set the pricing after I know my complete cost.

Re: Ultima Paint Care Challenge

Is Ultima a sealant? And if it is how long does it last?

Ultima is a product brand (Ultima: Clearly Different) that includes three new nanotechnology sealant products. I won't quote a durability period because it is hard to say. We feel that some companies are wreckless with their statements of "life-time", "5-year", blah, blah, blah.

Our challenge in this thread is for people to try it side-by-side with whatever product they think is best. We believe:

1. Nothing on the market is easier

2. Nothing on the market has the same shine

3. Nothing on the market is as slick

4. Nothing on the market will withstand detergents and other cleaners as well

Everything else that we can claim cannot be tested by the average person (e.g., UV protection, acid rain protection, corrosion protection, etc) so why bother?

Re: Ultima Paint Care Challenge

I think the kit specified above is a great idea. I'm keeping an eye on this!

Re: Ultima Paint Care Challenge

I started reading this thread with the hope that somenone would have completed the challenge. With all the thousands of members, bazillions of products and five weeks passed - not one? I think a three way test between Ultima, Optimum and Zaino would create lots of interest. With the sample kit being shipped soon, perhaps someone with Zaino and Opti Seal already in his arsenal will tackle the project even though the date for completion of the challenge has expired.

I'd venture a guess that:

1. People were on vacation
2. It was too damn hot to work
3. Not many people might have OS, CS and Ultima to do a comparison test

I would also like to see a comparison; I've got an informal test currently going on my hood.

Exactly. It was too hot to wash my own cars let alone slave over someone else's. I got rid of the OS when the opportunity arose and after testing CS and not getting it to work for *ME* I opted not to spend the coin on it.

Look forward to the pics and any conclusions.
