I was really sold on the protective properties of Acrylics.

Mike,
It will remove most waxes.
I think you will find that it creates a dark, deep, wet-look shine.

So you are saying that Paing Guard Plus sealant will remove waxes?
Is it just Carnuba or polymer/acrylic too?

db | Hi, David - I read your reply with interest, but I'm confused From your web site: Can Ultima Paint Guard Plus be applied over another manufacturer's wax product? You bet! Although we recommend first using Ultima Paint Prep Plus, many people have used Ultima Paint Guard Plus over other (fully cured) wax products with very good results. In all cases, Ultima Paint Guard Plus will increase gloss and durability. Ultima Paint Guard Plus
I've already ordered UPGP, but don't know whether I need to start over to use it, or just add it on top of P21S or Souveran??? Thanks!

Does this generally apply for all WOWA products? Could you tell me why? Just curious...

I was really sold on the protective properties of Acrylics. | I've been doing this with my car, and so far, it seems to work fine. I got my Ultima about a week and a half ago, and wanted to give it a try, but knew I wasn't going to have time to do a full prep job. DB had mentioned it should work over anything that truly cures (Klasse, Werkstatt, DG, Zaino, etc.), so I just washed and applied it right over the Werkstatt already on my car.
Three applications later, my silver WRX has never looked so wet (always tough to achieve with silver). I washed again this weekend . . . beading and slickness are awesome.
In my short experience, I'd say there shouldn't be any problem layering UPGP over acrylics.

Does this generally apply for all WOWA products? Could you tell me why? Just curious... | Anything that would be removed by a light solvent (99% of the waxes out there) will be removed with a single application of PGP.
While I have not experienced a case of streaking for applying PGP over another product, best practice dictates that paint should be properly cleaned and polished before initial application.
