Ultima Sprayer Cap

Each Ultima sealant (Paint Guard Plus, Interior Guard Plus, Tire & Trim Guard Plus) comes in a 12 oz bottle with a micro-fine mini sprayer. The sprayers have a small, blue, rubber cap. The cap keeps oxygen from getting into the bottle. If you leave your cap off ffor more than a few hours, the sprayer will be ruined. Please take care to replace the rubber cap after each use. A replacement sprayer is $1.50 plus shipping.

Re: Ultima Sprayer Cap

Chris,

Thanks for the feedback on the leaky sprayer. It looks as though we may have to bottle the product with a shipping cap. We tested the heck out of these sprayers and were confident they would not leak... so much for our testing.

Re: Ultima Sprayer Cap

Just to follow up...

I had read this topic and knew about this issue going in, so I decided to remove my sprayer from my PGP, de-prime it, and replace the original cap back on the bottle. I thought that this would be a good idea.

Unfortunately, it wasn't.

So just to re-emphasize...Put the blue cap back on the sprayer AND LEAVE IT IN THE BOTTLE!

Love the product, though...car is looking great.

Re: Ultima Sprayer Cap

i really should have ordered at least one replacement sprayer with my order.

David, not a bad idea to include that in the future kits.

Re: Ultima Sprayer Cap

So just to be clear take the small blue cap off of the sprayer and leave it in the top of the bottle and replace with the original top it came shipped with after each use or leave the sprayer attached to the bottle after using it the first time? Any harm in just leaving the sprayer attached?
