Re: Ultima Sprayer Cap

I can tell you I am really looking forward to the new sprayer. Great product! Worth dealing with the troublesome sprayer. That said, send me new ones as soon as you get 'em ready. I will probably do a small jig in celebration.

Re: Ultima Sprayer Cap

Any chance we'll see the new sprayer before the end of the year? These were initially supposed to be released by the end of October. It is now early December and nothing. I haven't been able to use my $70 UPGP since my initial usage and it's sitting there collecting dust since the damn sprayer is seized because of the flawed design - good thing I applied a few layers that weekend. I wanted to get in one more Ultima detail before the end of the year but that doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Looks like it's back to Werkstatt for me before the new year.

Re: Ultima Sprayer Cap

i just went to longs and got a cheap $1 2 oz plastic spray bottle. that sprayer works better than the ultima one. havent had a problem with it seizing up on me and last time i used it was a month ago. if you really want to use it you can just do that.

Nice idea!

I actually just Emailed Lynn and got a new spray top for my original bottle in the mail by return.

So either way, there's a solution there to keep you detailing until the new spray tops are available.

Re: Ultima Sprayer Cap

ya i dont think you have to go as far as NOT using the PGP, i just did that cause it is such a hassle to have to keep emailing them after every use because the sprayer seizes up pretty much after every use.

If you need a replacement sprayer all you have to do is contact Lynn. She will process a sprayer same day.

Re: Ultima Sprayer Cap

We dumped the microsprayer and went to a traditional pump. YES, it is fixed. We have not had any additional complaints (that I am aware of).

I am going to order the Complete Paint Care Kit, which contains 4 oz. bottle for PGP: is the sprayer working?

Thanks, max
