Re: polycharger and paste wax

I have tried this a few times now and it works fine and lasts. The problem you will have is that the wax will not harden back into a firm paste. I don't recommend doing it to your nice jar of wax.

I'm working closely with Paul at Chemical Guys to make a Carnauba wax boosted by Polycharger. After trying their latest Carnauba waxes, I firmly believe these guys are making the best product out their. Paul is as fanatical as they come (in a good way!) when it comes to Carnauba wax formulations. He gets it.

The addition of Polycharger to a Carnauba paste will allow us to increase the amount of actual Carnauba wax in the paste to an insane level. So, those of you who want depth... hang on to your eye balls cuz they will be popping out. Best of all, it will last much longer than Collinite.

Stay tuned!

Re: polycharger and paste wax

Dave,

Can I just clarify what the process is to PC a paste wax.

Do you :

1) Skim off enough wax as required to cover the car.
2) Whip (stir quickly ???) the skimmed off wax to liquidfly the wax.
3) Add 3-4 drops of Polycharger to the skimmed off wax
4) Mix the polycharger into to skimmed off wax
5) Apply the now polycharged skimmed off wax to the car as normal.

Is that correct ?????

Thanks

Perm

Hi David. I was curious to know if there has been any further work done on this concept? As an avid carnauba user (don't use sealants) I am very interested. Thanks.

I dont hear much about them either.

When was the last click & brag stating it used either Polycharger or an Ultima product?

How is it going?

Re: polycharger and paste wax

Ultima is still going great for me. There haven't been any Q&B threads from me because for some reason I can't start any new threads there. I'm close to the end of 12 ounces of Ultima PGP.

I think Polycharger dident take off like i thought i think b/c:

The general public out side product geeks like myself who try alot of things dident understand it.

I dont think it was advertised or explained fully to people. So often people still seem to be going for the Collinite IW rather then PC'ing there Wolfgang. One looks good and lasts, one looks GREAT and lasts!

PC'ing means you can have looks and durability, but i dont think people really see it or get that concept.

Geoff
