As far as slickness goes, this product dries/cures to a greater slickness that the RDF beta sealant. Durability is the same or better, and after multiple washes with Ultima Wash, loss of slickness is nil. Combine these features with wipe-on, walk-away application, and we belive we have a winner.
A 12 oz. bottle will be enough product to apply between 50 and 60 coats to an average size car. Application is so fast and easy, I believe most car enthusiasts will be inclined to apply the product monthly or better.
We treated half a bedliner on a work truck with this product back in December and it's still dark, glossy and beads water like a son-of-a-gun. It gets wash weekly with Dawn. This is the toughest clear sealant technology I am aware of.
We have been running an anti-oxidation test since last November. We took a foot long piece of iron pipe, treated half, then put it out in the swamp air in Florida. The untreated side is completely rusted over and flaking off. The treated side has several very small areas of rust but mostly retains a dark, glossy new iron pipe look.
As part of the product launch, I will give away 20 complete sets of product. Each kit will be worth over $250... you do the math!
This product line works and I'm willing to put it side-by-side with anything available today. The product will be better, the packaging will be better and the literature will be superior. Everything has been designed from the ground up to work together.
The Ultima product line is abandoning creams and pastes completely. They are outdated delivery mechanisms. The goal of each Ultima product is to cut application time/effort in half, as compared to typical products, reduce or eliminate VOCs completely, and eliminate the need for harsh cleaners. So far we have succeeded in every single category. | So I guess both the paint sealant and spray sealant have morphed into what is now known as Ultimate Paint Guard Plus. Is that a correct assessment? It seems there is a growing trend away from pastes and creams. While I understand the desire to make detailing products easier to use and less of a hassle, I actually find massaging wax, be it a paste or a cream, into a vehicle's painted surface to be therapeutic and comforting at times. One thing that I enjoyed about the beta version of RDF is that after the final buff the surface was ridiculously slick; by far the slickest, slipperiest product I've used. If you've indeed managed to increase that slickness in the final product and found a way to keep that slickness wash after wash then I'm sure the Ultima line will find a permanent home in my detailing arsenal.
Great work. | |

I'm sure the UPPP cleans and preps the surface for the bonding of UPGP much like Prime does for AJ/AJT.

I understand your comment about enjoying the wipe-on of a fine wax. However, Ultima is being designed a an environmentally friendly product line. The base formula of sealants is 100% VOC free. We put a small amount of drying agent in the paint sealant, but it's far below the limit. With this product line there is far less waste (all those solids you wipe off go somewhere!) and off-gassing into the environment. We are very proud of this achievement.
Likewise, our cleaners are far superior and non-toxic. In fact, you could eat our new clay gel (I did!). Our goal is faster, cleaner, longer lasting and better appearance. If we don't hit the mark on wax on, wax off therapy... well,

Pricing on this product line will be at the high end.

The elastrofoam sounds just like clay. What's in it that enables it to work as good as clay?

Sorry the quality of this pic is so poor... I did not have time to go into the photo studio.
As you can see, the top layer is a rubber coating and the rest is simply a block of foam.
