RDF #49 product separation?

I was wondering if anyone else noticed that the product was separating somewhat (forgive me as I do not have time to read through all the #49 posts)? Basically, I haven't used the #49 since I first got it, and when I went to use it, it squirted out a clear glaze-like liquid/oil. So I emptied the squirt tube back in the bottle and shook the bottle like crazy...but I still couldn't get the product to mix properly. Consequetly, the product was hard to wipe off in places. Possibly a bigger bottle with larger quantity would mix better, I don't know. Hopefully this gets resolved, because I LOVE the slickness of this stuff - walks all over Z2Pro.

Re: RDF #49 product separation?

Are you sure you didnt grab your RDF Trim and Tire Sealant bottle?

All too often I have to double check if I grabbed the right one. All kidding aside I have not noticed any separation of the product in my bottles. However I did notice the product seems to disappear after a month...Seems like the product is so good I cant help but use it all the time.

Re: RDF #49 product separation?

RAG,

That happened to my "alpha" version of RDF . . . was it your bottle of the original RDF that separated, or the new beta version?

Re: RDF #49 product separation?

I noticed the exact same thing during the time that I was using the RDF. The sealant that was in the dispensing tube was a clear liquid when I put some on an applicator pad. I emptied the rest that was in the dispenser into the bottle and shook it well. It seemed to do the trick so I dismissed it but I haven't checked the sealant since. I don't have a whole lot left so I probably wouldn't get a good mixing of the sealant if it's separated now but I'll check it.

BTW, I'm addicted to the slickness too.

Re: RDF #49 product separation?

is it silicone oil (polydimethylsiloxane) that's seperating out? Is that what's causing the incredible slickness?
