Join Date: May 2002 Location: pacifica,ca Posts: 163 | I polycharged ksg Ireally like the idea it would not affect shelf life.applied to my 2001 white focus compay car. thurday 10/19. added 2 drops per oz + shook gave the sg legs in the bottle.went on real easy 4-5 drops per pad suff just glided on did the whole car and buff off.removal was easy with a dry cloth but some spots tugged a little maybe to much product applied. 4hr later i did a second coat on the hood applied like it was teflon.easy 2nd coat spread real easy. took about 1/2 oz to do the car.
24hrs later loks go feels slick no as slick as fmj but good hosed it off with water it beaded and sheeted to my amazment( i hwy dry) 90 % of the water drops flew off in lest than 1/3 mi at 55mph uphill/ great drying.

Please test slickness in 24 hours and let us know if it got better. That was my experience. With KSG + PC, it takes a while for all of the water to evaporate.

db | david i looked again the bosted ksg really got slick.there is a soft slick feel.i wiped off some spots with egale 1 the dirt sliced away like it was hardle bonded to the paint. shine is good wet looking and warm it has really tighen up after a few days cure.humidity 75 % 68 degrees mornig fog

Join Date: Feb 2006 Posts: 52 | Over the past 3 days, I applied 3 coats of Polycharged KSG. I did half of the hood with regular KSG, and the rest of the car with the PCed KSG. I did not see much of a difference in removal, although I never thought it was that hard, but the real difference was slickness. The polycharged side was much slicker. II will report back in a month when I have more findings on durability. | |
