This product is a polymer based spray sealant. It is designed for all paints, clear plastic, glass and trim. It will not stain any surface. It does not contain cleaners and should not be used as a detail spray. Given 12-24 hours cure time between coats, it can be layered to improve gloss and durability.
This product is being designed to:
1. Maintain full protection of RDF #49 Paint Sealant (monthly application).
2. Be used as a stand-alone, quick-wax product.
3. Be used as a gloss enhancer.
Note: When used correctly, this product offers 85% of the durability and gloss enhancing benefit of RDF #49. Application
This product must be applied to a clean, dry finish. Shake bottle before use.
This product may be applied in several different ways: Method 1 – Mist and Wipe. Mist a very fine coat of RDF Spray Sealant to a single panel and wipe with a microfiber buffing towel. Flip towel and buff. Method 2 – Mist and Wait. Mist the entire vehicle with a very fine coating and allow the product to haze over for 3-5 minutes. Buff entire care with a clean, dry microfiber buffing towel. Method 3 – Wipe On. Mist a foam applicator (the Handi-Grip and Sonus SFX Pro Applicator work best) with product and apply to painted surfaces as you would any other sealant/wax product. Rub in until no film remains. Give a final buff with microfber buffing towel.
If desired, multiple coats may be applied. The product must be allowed to sit 12-24 hours before applying a second coat (to allow time for the polymers to cure). Testing
Allow 24-48 hours prior to washing. Wash vehicle as normal, using a quality car wash.

***I used the mist and wipe technique on a vehicle I clayed and polished via rotary DAY 1 JUDGING
1. How easy was the product to apply?
***(revised)...As expected...a little more difficult than a typical Quick Detailer
2. How easy is the product to buff off?
***final buff was easy.
3. Does product leave residue ?
***Nope.
4. What is the clarity of the finish after initial application?
***Seemed good, but was on a white vehicle. (update)...I used it on a metallic green car - clarity was good...really didn't notive a big change, but I rarely do with sealants.
5. How does the finish look after initial application?
***Same as it did before application
6. How does the finish feel after initial application?
***Slick, but not quite as slick as the regular sealant. Not sure yet if suitable for stand-alone use (I'll need to monitor the slickness in a few days). DAY 2 JUDGING
Day 2 seems slicker than Day 1, closing the gap between it and the slickness of the regular RDF 49.
Overal Impressions - This stuff can be a real time saver for professionals, though I don't think too many Autopian's will elect to use it as a stand-alone product. However, I certain it will make a great monthly booster.

1. How easy was the product to apply? Easy enough. A touch more "grabby" than a typical QD but not as "grabby" as AJT. I sprayed on the surface, spread around a bit and continued to buff off with a pakshak ultrafine MF.
2. How easy is the product to buff off? Easy enough. Might want to recommend a non-plush MF for application, it makes it easier to apply and buff off.
3. Does product leave residue ? None that I could see.
4. What is the clarity of the finish after initial application? Very clear.
5. How does the finish look after initial application? No real change didn't darken surface at all but did add a touch of gloss.
6. How does the finish feel after initial application? Slick, though not as slick as RDF sealant. DAY 2 JUDGING
Prior to day 2 judging, please lightly buff the paint with a microfiber buffing towel prior to judging.
1. What is the clarity of the finish? Same as day 1. No change.
2. How does the finish look? Same as day 1. No noticeable change.
3. How does the finish feel? no change from day 1. I was hoping for curing time to improve slickness to something close to RDF sealant but no luck.
Although I didn't care for the mist sprayer for the detailer I enjoyed using it for the spray sealant. It allows for a light even application. Spray sealant spread well and buffed off nicely. Should work well as a booster for RDF sealant though I'm not sure I would use it outside of the RDF system. Seems like it would compliment the system well but not sure it could stand on its own as a primary sealant. I would hope that the slickness could equal RDF sealant.

Prior to day 10-11 judging, please wash the car using your favorite car was shampoo. Dry thoroughly.
1. How well did the paint bead water?
Beading had nearly stopped on all leading edges of the vehicle. It still sheeted water well but beading was very diminished.
2. What is the clarity of the finish?
The clarity was about 70% of what the finish was 10 days before. Again the flooding, rain, winds, and very harsh conditions probably accelerated the degradation of the product.
3. Did the clarity diminish since initial application:
Yes, and upon reaplication at day 10, it recovered about 80% of the gloss and shine.
4. How does the finish look?
the finish looks good. My concern is the longevity under seattles harsh wet, muddy winters..
5. Is the finish as dark and glossy as it was after initial application?
40% or so after the initial wash, 80% or so after the spriz of spray sealant after the wash.
6. How does the finish feel?
After the wash on day 10 it felt 40% of what it was the day i detailed, after a spray of the spray sealant it was 70-80% of what it was the day i finished the detail
7. Is the finish as slick and smooth as it was after initial application?
no again 40%, 80%ish after a spritz down witht he spray sealant.
