Sounds good so far. Have the samples been shipped out to the first testers, or are you still working on the test protocols?

Sounds promising.

Did you notice any visible (gloss/depth/reflectivity) or tactile (slickness) change in results using PC application?
Did RD#49 usage increased/decreased by PC application? How much?
Did you prime the pad with anything (I realize it was not water from your previous post) to start PC application?

Any ETA when this sealant will be available for sale? Any idea on estimated cost as well? Will it be available in large quantities (128oz as someone else said)?

So what happens if it rains? If Z8 reduced the slickness then then it is only logical that if it is rained on then the slickness would be reduced.

You talk about how you did not want to bias the testing but by posting your own results you have already biased the testing.

Only if "you" do not report "your" own findings.

DavidB, I want to purchase a Swirlbuster pad with my RD#49 sample order (save on shipping). Great time to test this pad. Can this be arranged?

You don't get it. The minds of any testers have already been biased since the folowing has already been posted initially.

"What is "Red DOT Formula #49"? It is a new generation of polymer paint sealant that early testing shows to be:

1. Very easy to apply
2. Super slick
3. Very reflective
4. Bullet-proof durable"

Now it is the job of the testers to prove or disprove these findings instead of report independently knowing nothing more than that they are testing out a new sealant.

You now have people drooling over this stuff much like they did with the infamous Lab Sample D. Great marketing David!! I gotta give you that!

RIC,
I understand what you are stating but if RD#49 does not give me the same results as DavidB's initial testing, I will state such. That slickness was lacking, durability findings were not duplicated, appearance was not to my liking or not on par which other products I have tested or used in the past.

Great marketing. Of course!! Nevertheless, if testing does not meet the enhanced pre-marketing description (hype) RD#49 will become another product like Sample D and will need more marketing ($$$) to recover its name even after improvements. Sample D may not have met its hype but NXT isn't in reality a terrible OTC product.

If DavidB was biasing testing / testers he would not picked me. A well-documented Zainoholic since joining almost 5 years ago.

Yes. As soon as I get the samples this week, I will put them in the warehouse with a temporary P/N so testers can place their own orders with shipping address, etc. I don't want to be in the data entry business
