Can UPPP be used as a finishing polish?

I'm going to be using UPGP on a car coming up shortly and would like to put down UPPP. I will be using SIP and have 106ff. Should I skip the 106ff and just use UPPP via DA to finish?

If you are going to use UPGP. I would always recommend using the UPPP.

For my LS430 I used the following process.

Yes.

I know it was overkill. I like my car.

Pre-soak with P21S.

Wash with Ultima car wash.

Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay with ONR mixed as lube.

Heavy pads (purple wool or yellow foam) as required with either Menz Power Gloss or SIP. Hint if you are using PG, try a little 106ff or Ultrafina to help with the dusting.

Orange pad with Menz SIP.

White pad with Ultrafina (stuff ROCKS) rather than Menz 106ff.

Blue pad with Menz PO85.

Red pad UPPP.

Kept pads moist with Ultima detail spray.

Used thick heavy clean MFs and detail spray to wipe off polish stages.

Finished with...

UPGP x 2

DWG x 2

UPGP x 2 (might add 2 more)

Tires with Ultima Exterior x 2 (let each coat dry thoroughly) then 2 coats of Blackfire

Glass... clayed with ONR as above, cleaned 2x with Surf City, sealed with PGP Aquapel.

Engine bay and all seals same as wheels minus the BF.

Leather Lexus leather cleaner and kit.

Interior trim 303.

Carpet and interior glass (yet to finish).

All pads are 5.5" Smart Pads.

Depending on how hard or soft the paint is you should be able to use UPPP after SIP, but if you are still seeing hazing after UPPP use 106FF first.
