UDM for 220 volts?

I live in Thailand and the electricity here is 220 volts
I'm very interesting in UDM but not sure if i can use it here.
Or I have use a voltage converter?

The current UDM is available in the US version which is 110 volts so you would need a transformer.

That's not good news. Wish there was a 220v version also available for non US folks...

How long we need to wait for the 220 V to be realeased?
I've read in the UDM thread that you already finished the motor etc, and only need to reduce the vibration and put a longer cord, when do you think these things will be accomplished?

But to be honest I am tired of announcements about the 220V model.

if can't wait buy meguiars G220 (it is 220v) but it is a little expensive or buy a pc g110 udm and a transformer. In my country (Greece) a transformer rated at 1KVA cost 46 euro.

Yes, the Meg's G220 is to expensive to me too, and buying a transformer seems a little unreasonable and inconvenient enough...

Any predictions of the UDM's 220V price? (I hope it will not be more expensive than 110V version...)

the two main reasons I do not buy right now a g220 or a udm with a transformer are:
1) I have a rotary (makita clone)
2) I also want to see udm 220V price. (hope to be good enough)

UDM would be safe alternative, too bad we have to wait so long for it's release...
