My only problem is the switch. I don't mind the length of the chord at all. The bag is nice as well. Great product!!

I'm thinking I will sell my PC, buy a UDM to play with for a couple months then order the Hitachi. I will use the UDM for finishing work until I get the hang of finishing with a rotary.

I have had some issues with the switch, but I can live with it.

Completely different machines, for different reasons. If you have an rotary and a PC there is no need for anything else.

Are you still planning on doing a comparison test between the UDM and PC ... and perhaps including the Cyclo too?

| It is less, but not that much. One thing I really do like though, is when you use it one handed, the plastic cover over the head of the UDM doesn't rattle and buzz like the PC. Tom-I'd say the UDM cuts at least as well as the Cyclo. I still plan on doing a comparison between all three machines but last Sunday, I got a flat and my free replacement certificates from Discount Tire don't help me when they are closed on Sundays and that is when I get a flat. Spent 3 hours at Wal-mart getting another, the tire center was mobbed!
I may be able to try them all out on an ML I have this Sunday but I also have to wash another ML and a BMW 650 at another customer's house who lives nearby so I have put my customer's first and comparisons second.

Mine comes on monday and Lynn had the new switch installed before it left Autopia. I have not used the PC a lot but I don't see how I could ever turn it on/off by accident. I am expecting/hoping that the switch will just stay in its set position. Do you think that's a realistic expectation?
The rattle being gone is a very welcome improvement. Even if switch issues remain though, as long as it feels like a PC on '7' or '8' i think that i will be very happy. Would you say that's about how powerful it is?

Must not have been fun being at Wal-mart all that time just for a tire. Quote: |

Looking forward to your review when you're able to do it.
